Description
Rose’s Grenadine Syrup, 25 oz
Did you know that Rose’s cordials started out as a necessity for sailors? In 1867, the British Parliament issued an act that made it obligatory for ships to carry lime juice on board to prevent the disease called scurvy (the result of severe lack of vitamin C). Rose’s saw an opportunity for business, and began selling their lime juice. Over the years they sweetened their lime juice, and expanded their line of cordials to include flavors like grenadine — now one of the most frequently used cocktail syrups in the world. Use a dash of Rose’s Grenadine Syrup in cocktails like the tequila sunrise, or in non-alcoholic drinks like the Shirley Temple.
